Fall Arrest Training

Any person working at elevations is required to be trained in Fall Protection Safety (Fall Arrest Training).

Our Fall Protection Certification Program has been developed in accordance with federal and provincial legislations for workplaces across Canada.

When working at elevated heights, proper fall arrest systems (also known as Fall Restraint Equipment) should always be used.  All components of fall restraint equipment should be inspected regularly.  Depending on the job being performed, different fall restraint equipment should be used.  Talk to your supervisor to find out what equipment best suits your safety needs.

What are the different kinds of fall protection?

Falls from heights are the most common occupational injury.  Fall protection safety regulations are the most frequent sources of citations.

Falls can occur from ladders, scaffolds, elevating devices, or into excavations. Regardless of the cause or the height of the fall, hundreds of workers are injured and even killed each year.
